Treework supply a range of real wood floors in a wide variety of timbers and a choice of styles e.g. narrow or wide plank or blocks laid in herringbone or other patterns.

Our speciality is solid English Character Oak plank flooring. This comes in boards 100mm to 200mm wide, most are 1500mm and longer, the boards are stress relieved on the under side and they are end matched (i.e. they are tongue and grooved on the ends as well as the sides). This is as good a specification for English Oak floorboards as you are likely to get. It is hard wearing, beautiful and suitable for traditional and contemporary settings. The English Oak is FSC certified making it a very green option.

Other options for solid wood flooring range from light woods such as Ash or Maple to dark Walnut. The website can show some but not all options.

We often undertake specials such as extra wide floorboards or wood flooring kilned to be suitable for underfloor heating. As part of our fitting service we frequently stain the floorboards after fitting or distress them to give the look of an old wood floor.

Treework also supply a special selection of engineered flooring which we soemtimes recommend in circumstances which are not suitable for real, solid wood flooring. These boards are finished on site just like our solid wood floors.
