An ecological commitment has been central to Treework's activities since it was formed over 15 years ago by John Emery and Neville Fay.
All timber supplied by the company comes from sustainable sources and Treework were one of the first timber merchants to be included in the Friends of the Earth "Good Wood Guide".
In 1987 Treework co-found Tree Aid, a charity encouraging tree planting in the Sahel region of Africa.
