Treework gain FSC Certification - 9 Apr 2003
Treework have always had an ecological policy and attempt to only source timber from sustainable sources.
There have been many attempts to establish a certification scheme which gives the consumer confidence that the timber in any product purchased come from well managed woodlands.
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)scheme is now internationally recognised as giving that assurance.
Treework have achieved 'Chain of Custody' certification under the FSC scheme. This means we can trace certified timber through our processes.
We are now able to offer English Oak and Ash with full FSC certification.
