Underfloor Heating - 25 Nov 2006
We had fitted an Oak floor in Carol T's London house in 2003. She is now buying a larger new build detached house and contacted Treework regarding flooring. The new house had underfloor heating set in a concrete screed. Treework supplied and fitted an engineered board with a full 6mm of Character Oak bonded to a plywood base which we then bonded to the screed. The boards were a mix of 160mm, 180mm & 220mm wide. After laying we treated the floor as a solid Oak floor by sanding and applying a Hardwax Oil finish.
