Treework were recently asked to supply Oak flooring for a new large bungalow which had a concrete screed floor. As the property had to be suitable for the use of a wheelchair Treework machined and laid an Oak overlay fixed to a plywood base. This minimised height differences between floor finishes. We have a method of fixing which allows us to supply a wider overlay board than is usual - in this case we supplied a mix of 4", 5" and 6" boards which gave the appearance of a traditional Oak floor. Our overlay is also able to be resanded like a traditional floor and so could last the lifetime of the property.
